Following A Line

Posted 6 February 2011, 13:51

I have started a little netlabel as a way to distribute my improvisation electronic music. The first release is a set of two recent improvisations called Following A Line. These pieces feature Auduino, Buddha Machines (FM1, FM2, and FM3), MoogerFooger ring modulator, Deluxe Memory Man, and RC-2 looper. I recorded them live using a Zoom H4 recorder, and they are unedited except to clean up the beginnings and endings.

Both tracks were previously released (and are still available) on SoundCloud: Following A Line, Part 1 and Following A Line, Part 2. Marc Weidenbaum of was kind enough to mention it on Disquiet.

I may also make this release available as a CD-R.

(My next release will consist of an earlier improvisation with a number of great remixes from friends and colleagues. Coming soon!)

NNM netlabel release: Sublimation

Posted 21 January 2009, 09:36

I’m happy to announce that my Sublimation release, previously a limited-run CD-R, is now available on NewNewMusic’s spiffy net label:

http://www.archive.org/details/nnm007

It’s the same material as the CD, and the tracks have been available individually here for a while, but this is the only way to get them as CD-quality FLAC files.

If you like this music, please consider adding a positive review to the release page linked above.

Thanks to Jeff Harrington for getting the netlabel set up and running, and for NetNewMusic in general!
